The 25x25x2 MERV 8 furnace / air filter is a commonly purchased replacement filter. It filters pollen, mold, dust mites, and other particles that are up to the size of pudding mix that you might buy at the grocery store. It will protect your AC / furnace system, while offering adequate filtration to keep your facility dust and pollen free. The nominal size of the filter is 25x25x2 while the actual size of the filter is 24.5 x 24.5 x 1.75. The 25x25x2 MERV 8 filter is designed to last 3 months, or 3 times the average fiberglass filter.

Description
MERV 8 general purpose air filters meet or exceed the requirements for the MERV 8 rating by capturing 75 to 80% of particles in the 3 to 10-micron range (such as dusting aids and cement dust) and 20 to 35% of particles in the 1 to 3-micron range (lead dust, humidifier dust, coal dust, and nebulizer droplets). They are commonly used as pre-filters for higher-rated filters or as the final filter in a low-dust environment.
